When going on holiday to Cyprus, it is worth considering the tourist area you will visit, because Cyprus is a lonely island in the Mediterranean Sea, but it is not that small.

In our opinion, you should come to Cyprus at least 3 times and explore a different corner of the island each time. Because coming to Ayia Napa and visiting Paphos, located 200 km away, or the even further Akamas P

eninsula, while skipping the attractions around Ayia Napa is like a tourist from abroad who wants to come and visit Poland, will fly to the airport in Krakow, will not see Wawel, the Old Town and Wieliczka, and will rush 200 km to visit Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw because they heard it is cool.

Therefore, it is worth coming to Cyprus at least 3 times:

Once to Ayia Napa and here mainly sunbathe and visit the areas of Cape Greco, Lefkara or Larnaca,
And next time to Paphos and visit Aphrodite's rock, Limmasol with White Stones and above all the wild and difficult to access Akamas peninsula.
The third time is worth going to the Turkish part and visiting Famagusta and Varosha and going to Dipkarpaz and castles around Kyrenia. In this article we will not deal with this topic. Perhaps a separate article about the northern regions will appear soon.

Local cuisine and wines

Cypriot meze is a real feast for the palate – from fresh seafood to aromatic halloumi cheese. And for dessert? The famous Commandaria wine, which tastes like a piece of history in a glass! Traditional meze and really good other delicacies can be eaten in the family restaurant KOTA. Discover Cyprus from a different perspective! Take a cruise, dive into the crystal clear waters and admire the picturesque coastline. One of the best places for such a trip is the protected Akamas peninsula with the stunning Blue Lagoon near Polis. Jeep Safari around the island

Off-road trips in jeppas lead through mountains, villages and picturesque spots that are usually inaccessible to tourists. It is also a chance to see the traditional life of the island's inhabitants. We ourselves have entered one of the most interesting regions to do it for you video recording. Unfortunately, because the roads in this area are not suitable for driving with a low chassis, apart from the beautiful views, we do not have fond memories of our independent driving.

It's definitely better to experience a real adventure in a jeppe than worry every 2 meters whether we've damaged the car. Especially since rental companies often include a provision in their regulations that driving on a gravel road is not covered by insurance.

In turn, the unique experience of driving such a jeep will certainly be intensified if the route runs through an area that is inaccessible for a passenger car. It's pure joy to ride with your music playing, on a beautiful, sunny day, along the shores of the azure sea on the Akamas Peninsula.

Driving on an asphalt road in a jeep is pointless, it's better to go comfortably by car. But these most beautiful places from the Paphos side are inaccessible to ordinary cars. A trip in such a jeep is the most interesting way to visit Akamas. See what the atmosphere is like at such events!

So if you are ready to experience the sensations described in the article, fasten your seatbelts, put on your masks and jump into your dresses. ! The special task force is already on site. Due to the intimate nature of the events, please contact the organizers well in advance. The number of places is limited, and during the peak season in Cyprus it may turn out that there may be too few of them. Especially if we add that you, as a tourist, are not comfortable participating in these events every day of your stay.

It is certain that the day of arrival and departure is not a good day for attractions, and at least 1 day for acclimatization is recommended. In addition, diving is not allowed for 24 hours before the flight and after arrival. Don't wait, you only have 4 days for all the attractions. And you still have to find time for sunbathing. And it is best to rest between the attractions.
